Myron completed a Doctorate Degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas with an emphasis in Rehabilitation. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Physical Therapist in the State of Washington. Myron's formal education and professional training has prepared him to counsel individuals, couples, parents, families, groups, and children. Myron is certified in General Biofeedback and EEG Biofeedback through the Biofeedback Institute of America and is qualified to provide biofeedback and neurofeedback therapeutic services. He is also a Certified HeartMath Practitioner.
While a doctoral student at UNT, Myron worked with the Texas Center for Music & Medicine and conducted a major study designed to evaluate the effects of HRV biofeedback training coupled with emotional regulation techniques on music performance anxiety in university musicians and music students. This research was novel and continues to be widely referenced in the performing arts medicine mental health literature.
